Long-time angler and fish nerd. Got my start hooking worms for smallmouth, graduated to launching plugs from Wasque, and it wasn't long before I was pretending to know what I was doing with a dry fly. Combined with a long-standing interest in health and human physiology, pursuing research in biological sciences with a focus on organismal fish biology and endocrine physiology seemed like a good fit. Sometimes I pretend to be an ecologist too.
