My name is Lori Head, and I am a student researcher studying Public Health at the University of South Florida (USF). At USF, we enjoy a diverse and growing student organization community. One such organization that strives to unite them all is the Disaster and Humanitarian Relief Student Collaborative (DAHR-SC). Facebook DAHR-SC Group page Our organization specializes in "encouraging students with similar interests to collaborate and work together to reach common goals through research and philanthropy." To better assess our place in the community, we have conducted an initial situational analysis, requesting that all students, faculty, and staff complete our (now archived) Survey tool. Now, we are preparing to standardize our methods. We are conducting collaboration experiments where students will work together to reach a common goal.
