Blue Orb Innovation Laboratories was founded in 2014 by, and is operated by Marcus A. Harper, an engineering student at the Colorado School of Mines. Marcus created Blue Orb Labs as a way to financially support his schooling, all the while utilizing the scientific and engineering problem solving skills he as thus far acquired during his academic career. The premise of Blue Orb labs isto offer affordable research & development to the budding entrepreneurs and small businesses. Marcus also wanted to devote a considerable amount of Blue Orb Lab's resources to "betterment" projects, projects of which the collective associates at the lab find would be worth while to address for the betterment of society.
