Good luck with the experiment! Hopefully, you won't have any fungus or bacteria grow on your agar. If you do, try working with your agar in a dessicated "fume hood" box that has air drawn out of it gently by a fan. The fan can pull mold spores and bacteria away from your agar. Another way to prevent contamination is by working near a bunsen burner, but that requires an open flame and is a fire hazard. Don't use an open flame without an adult and a fire extinguisher nearby.

Dr. Schneider, I suspect that like cancer, sinusitis is not one disease, but a spectrum of diseases. As a sinusitis sufferer myself, I hope that you're onto something with your work. Dr. Malast
