I am a second-year doctoral student in the Applied Behavioral Economics Laboratory at the University of Kansas. I received my B.A. in Psychology from Gonzaga University in 2017. My research is primarily focused on behavioral medicine and wellness, as I am interested in investigating how health-based decisions relate to demand for various commodities. One particular area of interest is the relationship between excessive ultra-violet indoor tanning, substance use, and associated behavioral comorbidities. My work is also focused on alcohol use and abuse, as I study demand for fake IDs amongst college students, as well as identify different ways demand for alcohol is quantified using the alcohol purchase task. My master’s thesis is a behavioral evaluation of an online indoor tanning intervention, using ecological momentary assessment (EMA).
