About
I'm an educational psychologist and researcher in Houston, Texas. I founded Apollo Analytics, LLC and I serve as a lecturer in Educational Psychology at the University of Houston, where I earned a PhD in Educational Psychology & Individual Differences, specializing in Learning & Development. I recently served as an outcomes analyst for the Harrris Center for Mental Health and prior to that as the Director of Institutional Research at Brazosport College in Lake Jackson, TX. In addition to program evaluation, my research interests include human learning, psychosocial development, theories of motivation, achievement goals, performance, engagement, intelligence and creativity, and the interaction of environmental, genetic, and psychological factors on student success.
I attended Southern Illinois University Carbondale where I earned a BA and MA in English. I've served in higher education for over twenty years, predominantly as an administrator for post-secondary honors programs.
