I am a Fulbright Scholar doing my post doc at UC Irvine. My passion is evolutionary genomics. In the past, I worked with manta rays, sharks, spiders, fish. I am looking forward to working with plants. I am Mexican and love my country's natural resources. I believe science should contribute to preserve our planet's resources. One way to do so is to know how animals and plants endure changes through history. I earned my PhD in marine ecology and evolutionary genetics and have a strong background in trophic ecology. For the last four years I have been working on my bioinformatics skills. I believe there is always room to keep learning
