We are too Monica. TickSpotters has a national (international) reach and California is already one of the leading states in terms of submissions. But there's likely a lot of room to letting people know about the TickSpotters program, so we'll also appreciate anything you can do to let people out there know about us. Thanks again for becoming a backer.
Well Tina, let us know how we can help. Have you visited our TickSpotters webform? https://tickencounter.org/tickspotters/submit_form
We hope that we can count on your support and on your sharing about our project with your network of forestry and conservation professionals.
Thank you so much Lillian for your generous pledge, both in financial support and in your passion to reclaim the outdoors. We humbly ask for you continued help--will you try and recruit one more person to follow you in backing our experiment? We can see possibilities from having a more tick-informed citizenry creating TickSmart communities where people encourage each other to use best practices in preventing tick bites. Now we need data to help us push the needle.
