Dr. Nages Boukhoun–Mena created the St Maarten Electronic Health Authorization System. It was created to reduce the number of medical malpractice cases that can occur on the Caribbean Island. Because of its beautiful beaches, warm climate, excellent conditions, and numerous hospitals, this small Caribbean island has attracted the attentions of the major pharmaceutical companies around the world.
