    Hey Christina - thanks for your support! You can actually find these bacteria all over the hive environment. We are particularly interested in what they are doing when found together - be that within the gut, inside the honey, or on the frames.

    🐝🐝 Awesome project! Just curious, how do you collect the microbes from bees' digestive tracks? Are the bees still alive at this stage? How much might the microbial communities shift before or after the bee feeds?
