Efficacy of a computer assisted training to prevent cognitive decline

Methods

Summary

Participants will be recluted among healthy workers aged 50-60 during an“information day" ,including presentation and demonstration of the training that will be held in a big company in the Northern Italy area. Exclusion criteria include having suffered a stroke in the past 5 years, to have been diagnosed with a neurological or psychiatric disorder or having  a scoring ≤23 on the Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE).

Challenges

Some participants will re-consider their intention to partecipate or will not cope with the required tasks. It will be very important to give the message that thanks to their partecipation they will have the possibility to improve themselves.

Pre Analysis Plan

For data analisys we will apply the General Linear Models for Repeated Measures in the SPSS statistical software.
