You enable real research projects. Once you fund a project, you'll get access to progress, data, and results straight from the team.
Each project is reviewed by our team to make sure that it meets our project criteria. Anyone can start experimenting.

How do inflammation and hypertension affect cognitive impairment? Williamson, Lauren, Aria Kim, anonymou239408324820, and Amelia Hidalgo.. Williams College, 20 Jul 2016. Experiment
Amelia will use the Context Object Discrimination (COD) task to assess memory in her rats. The COD task allows rats to explore two different contexts - A and B in the picture below. The rats explore two identical objects in Context A (circle) and two identical objects that are different in Context B (square). Each rats explores each context for 5 minutes each day for 2 days. On Day 3, an object from Context B replaces one of the objects in Context A, so the circle context contains one oval object and one square object. Then the rat explores the circle context for 5 minutes. Rats who have intact memory will explore the square objects for more time because the square object has never been in the circle context.
