Great idea, glad to back it! But don't underestimate the dangerous side of developing and testing nonstick cooking surfaces... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9rMcRJVY1-0

Very nice write up! Excited to contribute to this project - hopefully I won't be using Teflon cookware within a few years!

Hi, really enjoyed reading about your project. I'm working on a study on crowdfunding for scientists, researchers and technologists. Would you guys be willing to participate in a brief interview? Please let me know.

I agree with Jon, Omnioff is a great idea that each one of us can benefit from. I remember my pot got a little scratched up at the bottom that the Teflon started peeling away. I didn't notice the coating was starting to come off until my fried rice started sticking to the silver lining underneath. We need a new product that can deliver the same value and satisfaction so we can get rid of all the Teflon cookware from our home! I am so proud of this team! I wish you all the best of luck.

Amazing concept, can't wait to see it implemented. Just last week, someone in my inrternship dorm accidently left the stove on for more than an hour and we could all smell the teflon burning. We knew it had to be bad to breath in so we had to avoid the place until it vented.
