New goal!

Okay folks, we've lowered our goal to $1200 from our initial goal of $3500. Which means we're 73% funded now!

What this means for our project: Our project will happen this spring! We have six depth loggers from previous research that we will reuse this spring in addition to four depth loggers that will be purchased when we meet our $1200 goal. Once we meet our $1200 funding goal, there will be an option to continue funding all the way to $3500 if there is interest from new backers. The scope of our monitoring in Massachusetts will be smaller with our new goal but will still produce valuable hydrologic data, establish monitoring sites, and certify vernal pools for protection.

Just over two weeks to go!

About This Project

Vernal Pools are temporary wetlands that fill annually and support a unique set of species. The goal of our study in Massachusetts is to better understand how water level in vernal pools fluctuates throughout the year. Studies like ours are critical to protecting species that rely on vernal pools.
