We have a website!

Just wanted to let everyone know that we officially have a website: professorspine.com!

Originally Jeff was thinking of developing a "Frog" themed website, but the input from Kidsteam UB suggested that the kids were much more into the characters, and thus professorspine.com was born (named after Professor Einspine of course).

We are trying to make the website interactive and fun to explore. It is a little buggy right now and seems to work best on Chrome or Firefox. Jeff will work on creating a variety of content and then look for a developer to help with some of the bugs. Most of the site should be responsive, meaning that it should also work with tablets and phones (although tablets and computer monitors are optimal).

There is much much more to come - more science modules, and modules for what folks can do every day to live healthily and prevent complications. We are waiting to develop more content before we advertise the site widely. But of course we are excited to share with our backers and the Experiment.com community first. We will keep you posted!

About This Project

Education is key in the rehab process for spinal cord damage, but precious few resources for children exist. We will build an engaging, dynamic website to fill this void, and test the use of illustrated techniques for teaching biomedical concepts to children.

Blast off!
