    About This Project

The World Health Organization calls for an increase in psychosocial interventions for dementia. While the prevalence of dementia is projected to reach 152 million in 2050, there are limited effective treatments for its severe forms.

The current project is the first to develop a complex intervention for moderate to severe dementia. We hypothesize that multi-sensory stimulation can enhance cognitive functions in these individuals. The raised funds would cover four months of the project.
