Lab Note #4
Apr 08, 2014
Science communication enthusiasts! If you live in Seattle, you might have seen this beautiful advertisement in last week's edition of our beloved local newspaper, The Stranger:

That's right, the Engage students are once again taking over Town Hall Seattle for another season of "UW Science Now"! If you're in the neighborhood, we hope you'll join us for a jam-packed week of sweet science talks. Tomorrow there's the science of rockets and lightning, Friday we have stem cells and new hearts, and Sunday will be carbon nanontubes and teething gels. Other great reasons to attend: 1) Your ticket to the UW Science Now talks also gives you entry to the the fabulous Town Hall talk that follows it, 2) Beer and wine are available! 3) It's only $5, and if you're a UW student, you get in free.

CAN'T MAKE IT? Not to worry! We'll be livestreaming all the events we can. Tune in for free on livestream. And if you're on twitter, tweet us your questions at @EngageScience and follow #UWsciNow.
