I’m a neuroscientist and artist. The oddest things in nature, and the cells under my microscope, inspire me to make art. I'm interested in the overlaps between scientific concepts, biological images, and surrealism. My brain is full of imaginary cells and strange creatures; the subconscious can be a busy place, so I try to accommodate all the deep sea neurological carnivorous fungi-plankton-plants that grow there. I just can’t resist them. In the surrealist game of ‘Exquisite Corpse’, I'm privileged to collaborate with amazing imaginations from all over the world, and constantly challenged to improve my skills.
Other than that, I'm short and have many cats. In addition to art, I love neural cell culture, listening to radio comedy, and making vegetarian curry, cake and tea.
