You may want to consider using some of the standard preparation methods, vs. a generic dehydration. The tempurature at which the placenta is dehydrated at may have an effect on what is present in the dried placenta. Food for thought- Pun intended.

Also, will you only be testing for hormones? Will you use various preparation "styles" -raw start vs. steamed, etc? So many questions.
