These are the real deal! They were deployed by NASA following the Challenger explosion to recover asset technology and went on multiple deep sea dive missions. The one with the acrylic dome had more abilities; it was decked out with a camera system, a robotic arm for sample collecting, etc. We were not allowed to actually get inside, but we were allowed to poke our head into the yellow submarine.
