Yes well 200k is not that impossible but most probably you should try to raise money on more popular platforms like Kickstarter. I have increased my pledge to help you reach 2nd stretch goal and I hope guys from this website will recognize and feature you on homepage. I saw some really mediocre projects featured I think it just discourage people from investing.

OK guys with this stretch goal how far will we be from 'Open -Insulin'? How much more effort and funds will be needed to have it approved for use on humans?

I am totally surprised that 'generic insulin' does not exist. What about clinical trials? How much money is really needed to make it available to general public.
