I used to travel and dive extensively in Europe and the Red Sea. I blew my first underwater bubbles in the Mediterranean but to be honest didn’t really enjoy the experience. It’s only a few years later during a holiday in Egypt that I fell in love with diving. I climbed the PADI continuing education chart and worked as a PADI IDC Staff Instructor for a few years before joining the Project AWARE Team in 2000. As Project AWARE manager of the UK office and New Media Specialist I use the power of Social Media to spread the word about the threats our oceans are facing and how divers can make lasting environmental changes - one dive at a time. I work closely with the Project AWARE global Policy and Diver Engagement team to develop new and innovative ways to get complex marine conservation issues across to a wide and new audience.
