About
I studied Biology at Autonomous University of Madrid, and my master's in Bio Inspired Innovation at Utrecht University. I specialized in mycelium as a source of sustainable and energy-efficient material. I worked in two of the leading companies in the sector: the californian Bolt Threads and the italian startup Mogu for flexible pure mycelium sheets. I also participated in the IndieBioNY accelerator program leading the scientific team of Bosque Foods. Focused on mycelium-based food, this startup rose a seed round of 3M after the program. Now, I am a researcher of mycelium composites as a renewable solution for isolating materials in construction at Utrecht University.
