Thanks for back my project! I measured their exploration and exploitation by observing their behavior when presented with two foraging options (time 1:18 in the video). The odors presented to the bee are analogous to foraging patches. The head turning behavior shows a bee that is gathering information about (or exploring) the two options. Sticking her tongue out is an exploitative behavior, because she is attempting to consume resources (even though they're aren't any resource available).
