About
I'm an MD/PhD student, and I've begun conducting my PhD research on a cell surface molecule called IGPR-1. My goal is to determine how exactly this molecule prevents the epithelial-mesenchymal transition in tumor cells, a process that allows these cells to become resistant to anoikis and then metastasize to other sites in the body. I love science; therefore, I love this website and what it's doing for thousands of scientists worldwide!
