Summary

Extracellular DNA will be extracted from the matrix of bacteria previously observed in the brain and CSF of patients with Alzheimer's disease. DNA will be characterized with Bioanalyzer 2000.  Beta-amyloid aggregation will be studied with Thioflavin T aggregation assay.
