I’m very excited about and appreciative of the initiative Dr. D’Antonio and the Environmental Club has taken with this project. I’m also very disappointed and ashamed that our university isn’t paying for this out of the operating budget. Recycling should be SOP.

"Reduce, reuse, and recycle". If everyone on this planet followed this motto, our world would be a much better place. Really hoping we can get a recycling program started at USCB! Dr. Montie

It's super important we implement a recycling program at USCB. I currently take my plastics home with me to recycle, but it will be nice to be able to recycle them on campus.

Excellent sustainability practices are important for universities, school systems, and libraries to follow since these learning centers draw in many people and will demonstrate what the good standards are. The improved recycling program at the University of South Carolina Beaufort brings us into the right direction.
