Methods

Summary

Leek moth pheromone-baited traps will be deployed for 20 weeks from mid-May until mid-October at 20 onion fields with 2 traps/field and 1-2 fields/county within Vermont.

For each leek moth pheromone trap we will collect: adult capture date (first adult caught in trap/flight), duration of flights (number of weeks adult moth presence in traps) and abundance (number of adults in trap and number of traps with adult moths.) Descriptive statistics (mean, median and SEM) will be collected to illustrate the distribution, duration and timing of flights.
