I love when I am working on the Island Packer's boats out to the Channel Islands National Park and we are able to share our humpback whale sighting with Happy Whale and learn more about the individual humpback. When I started working out at the islands back in the early 90s we did not see very many humpbacks. To witness a great conservation success story of the comeback of the great whales over the past few decades gives me hope that we are capable of doing so much more when it comes to all the challenges facing the sustainability of our oceans. Whales give me hope! Thank you Happy Whale.
