I rescued a cat one year ago who was living under the porch of a rural general store. He had been abandoned years earlier because he had a genetic disorder and he had been hit by a car. It was 28 degrees and he was close to death when I found him. In the past year he has thrived. He hobbles & scoots rather than walks due to his genetics and the car accident, but he is by far the most loving and sweet cat I or anyone who meets him has every known. I named him "Spirit" because he has survived against all odds. He would be a great ambassador for kids with medical challenges of any kind.
