Do microplastics on our ocean's surface have an effect on climate change?

We have successfully tested the method described by Dr. M. Cole of the University of Exeter (UK) to produce our own micro plastic fibers for the experiment. We choose polyester as it is a very common type of fibers in everyday use (especially clothing).
