Wow, we're only 3 days in, and already over 20% of the project is funded. Thanks to all of you who have donated! Jeff and I are really excited to get this project moving, and we'd never be able to do it without the community of beer and science lovers out there. Let's keep this momentum going and crack the $2000 barrier soon!

Sour beers are likely the original beer style and have made a recent comeback in terms of popularity among craft beer enthusiasts. They are made with a bacterial and fungal mix rather than pure cultures of Saccharomyces. yeast as in typical ales and lagers.
