About
Project manager and communications specialist interested in community engagement, social impact strategy, urban ecology, and sustainable food systems. From 2014-2019 I worked for Brooklyn Grange, the world’s largest rooftop farm. From 2011-2014 I worked for the MillionTreesNYC initiative implementing the country's largest free tree giveaway program, distributing over 50,000 trees throughout the five boroughs of New York City. I have co-authored several scientific papers and reports on the efficacy of community based urban forestry initiatives. I am currently pursuing a dual MBA in Sustainability Leadership and a Master of Science in Sustainable Food Systems from Prescott College. I use the lenses of critical theory, bioregionalism, and systems thinking, as well as empathy, to explore our society and how we can best effect change.
