Thank you, Marypat! And thanks for your support and all your help getting the word out about this project. We will be sure to name an otter "Old Neutriment"...

Thanks for the kind words and generous contribution, Steve! I think you know as well as anyone how much we care about the Beartooths and its inhabitants (and how much we like getting out into the Beartooths to study its inhabitants!)

This contribution is earmarked for Sam Reinsel's volunteer stipend ;) He probably won't be difficult to recruit! Good luck with the project!

Thanks Emily! I will be sure to put Sam to work (and believe me, I've already told him all about it). Besides, he and the otters have a lot in common: like the snow, catch a lot of fish, show up in random places all over the Beartooths...

I love this project. I lead paleontological expeditions out of the Yellowstone-Bighorn Research Association at the foot of the Beartooths outside of Red Lodge. Would you consider coming to camp one evening this summer to give a talk to our group? Please feel free to email me at JSchein@BBPaleo.org

Thanks for this endorsement and your support, Jason! And I would love to give a talk at the Research Association this summer: that would be a great opportunity to engage folks, which is one of the primary goals of this project. Thanks again!

Thanks, Gayle, I sure will! There will be regular updates on the "Lab Notes" section of this experiment.com Website, plus I am really looking forward to the video(s) that we will also produce towards the end of the project. There's even discussion on creating some junior high science curriculum material out of this, which would be among the best possible outcomes. Thanks again!
