Study Protocol

A nationally representative (US) sample of adults aged 18+ will be recruited. The target sample size is 5,000 and this geographically and demographically stratified sample will complete self-report assessments of everyday behaviours, health, and a measure of Internet Gaming Disorder (IGD) based on the American Psychiatric Association's 2013 guidelines published in the DSM5. Because this is a prospective study, follow-up data will be collected from participants over time.
