Visualizing a fart...and other sounds too

So our project was inspired by the Human Body app by Tinybop. It's a really great app to get kids exploring. And of course one of their favorite parts: the fart sounds.
And the toilet flushing sound.
And the flying bee sound.
We like funny sounds too!
Continuing from the first lab note post...the next step in the process of making an animated cartoon after storyboards is:
3. Record audio!
The audio consisted of narration and sound effects etc. The audio becomes the "beat" that we draw and animate to, and dictates the timing for everything.
Attached is a picture of our audio recording setup and the green wavy lines represent visualized sounds that we can edit. This is a picture of our narration with sound effects mixed in.
Apologies for the false advertising that there are actually no farts in this photo. This one is a classy shot. Not that we are above doing fart sounds...but we should probably get a spit guard for the microphone first!
