I have a BUNCH of re-evaluation to do between now and July 29, when I present my findings (to date) at the Annual Meeting of the Botany Society of America in Boise. Then... ... ... I find a publisher! :)

Provided they placed the photos on their website correctly, the ARGUS VI is the instrument on the right side of this page: http://geochronology.coas.oregonstate.edu/instruments/ There's a LOT of hornblende and biotite in my samples, and it was judged that the ARGUS would have the sensitivity to get a valid reading. The ominous part was when they said the samples were back from the reactor!
