Experiment is an "all-or-nothing" fundraising platform. So if we don't make the target, we don't get the funds... We're working hard to make sure that doesn't happen though! Please help by sharing!

Thanks for the interesting questions. Penguins can't defend themselves very well against predators such as leopard and caracal because of their small size- they also don't run very fast! But adults can defend themselves and their chicks against smaller predators (like mongoose). They have really sharp beaks! Living in a colony helps individual penguins because it is then less likely that they will be chosen by the predator.
